I was there on 12/23/17 and loved it. The service and food were sensational -- HUGE portions of extremely tasty food. You just sit down and BAM -- you're served a wonderful hot biscuit with the house apple butter. Jordan was our server, and she was excellent; the checkout person (manager?) was also quite solicitous.
Moose Cafe is a great place for breakfast. Portion sizes are big for a decent price. Great value. Biscuits are good and the apple butter is a yummy addition.
This restaurant is very awesome! You get what you pay for and the staff is beyond welcoming! Everything fresh from the farms and not from the cans! Would recommend this restaurant over other restaurants any day!
Stopped by for lunch around 3pm but it turned into Dinner. I ordered chicken tenders with a side of chicken & dumplings and pinto beans & onions. The chicken tenders are as big as a man's hand or a large piece of flounder. They serve "cathead" biscuits and apple butter. If you leave hungry it's your own fault.
Visited on 10/8 at 4:30 pm. . only a few people there.. my wife and waited about 15 minutes after being seated.. Not a single person came to wait on us .. the host did bring a biscuit as he seated us. After that we noticed 2 waitresses walking around. So after 15 minutes we got up and left.. everyone seemed to.be at the counter where you enter the restaurant.. that's ok now I see why so many Bad reviews..will Never go back
